Financial Markets: Increasing Complexity, Maintaining Stability

    One of the Central Bank’s objectives in the coming years is to ensure Mir cards are accepted on the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) space, Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina said at the International Financial Congress in St. Petersburg.

    “A strategic objective in the coming years is to ensure the direct international acceptance of Mir cards, above on the EurAsEC space”, she said on Thursday, July 13.

    Nabiullina also noted that Russia has currently issued 10.6 million Mir cards, including more than 2 million since the start of the summer.
