Graduated from the Admiral Makarov State Marine Academy in St. Petersburg in 1997. In 2000 obtained his MSc in shipping, trade and finance from City University Business School, London. Dmitry joined LUKOIL Group in 2001. Since then he has held various managerial positions in LUKOIL-Romania, LUKOIL-Hungary and the headquarters of LUKOIL. In his current role of head of the Petroleum Product Sales Division Dmitry is in charge of arranging exports of light petroleum products, identifying new export routes and improving the efficiency of the existing export destinations. He has an in-depth knowledge of the European and Central Asian petroleum product markets, including pricing, risk management and logistics. Recently Dmitry has been working closely with the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) and the Bank of Russia to arrange for LUKOIL’s participation in the trading of petroleum product futures on SPIMEX. He is a member of the Derivatives Market Section Board at SPIMEX.
