He graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (Tashkent) in 1997 with a degree in financial management. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He has been working at KPMG Moscow since 2002. He has more than 16 years of experience in auditing the financial statements of Russian and foreign insurance companies and private pension funds, banks, payment systems, brokers, and investment companies. In addition to the audit, he was providing consulting services and assistance to transactions (issuance of bonds and securitization), to major insurance companies in analysing accounting policies, internal processes and control systems, to major Russian banks on the analysis of package lending and hedging transactions, including decision trees and accounting policies. He conducted training on IFRS and its implementation for Russian banks.
In 2014–2016, he was a member of the Bank of Russia working groups on imposing principles and approaches used in International Financial Reporting Standards when generating statistical reports and statements for non-bank institutions compliance (pooled investment and trust management market; microfinance market).
In addition to auditing practice in Russia, he oversees audit clients of the financial sector in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
