Galina Sharybkina

Advisor to the Director, Microfinance Market Department, Bank of Russia

In 1994, she graduated with honours from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Economics, and in 1997, she graduated from the post-graduate programme.

Since 1994, she worked in the banking sector, heading different departments such as Commercial Lending, Corporate Finance, Asset Management and Customer Service. In commercial banking, she made her way from an economist to deputy chairman of the bank.

In 2007, she earned an MBA degree from the internationally certified programme of the Graduate School of Corporate Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Since 2016, she has been with the Bank of Russia. She is the Secretary of the Expert Council on Microfinance and Credit Unions under the Bank of Russia.
