Director, Financial Stability Department, Bank of Russia
Elizaveta Danilova has been working at the Financial Stability Department since its establishment at the Bank of Russia in April 2011. The areas of her responsibility include identification and mitigation of financial stability risks in the Russian financial system, development of macroprudential policy, cooperation of the Bank of Russia with the Financial Stability Board and other international organizations on financial stability and regulatory issues. She has been a member of the FSB Analytical Group on Vulnerabilities since 2009. In 2009-2011 Ms Danilova worked at the Market Operations Department of the Bank of Russia, where she was involved in the analysis of the domestic and external financial markets. In 2004-2009 she worked in the Strategy Division of Sberbank, where her responsibilities included macroeconomic forecasting and financial markets reviews, analysis of the international M&A strategy of the bank. Ms Danilova holds a PhD in economics and a master’s degree in finance from the Moscow State University.
